Day of English at NSU

Time: December 20, 2019
Location: NSU
Event Type: slam party

English is a global international language; it is a link between people from all over the world, the language that allows students from dozens of countries to become part of our university family. Therefore NSU annually devotes one day to English and foreign students. On the ENday program anyone can find something for themselves: fans of British music and connoisseurs of English history and culture participate in the On-the-run Quiz, language experts compete in pronunciation and spelling in the Spelling Battle, guess painted words in Pictionary and communicate in the conversational club. Those who want to study abroad learn from the best practices of graduate students and staff who share their experience in foreign internships. A separate event in the program is an essay contest “If I were the Rector of NSU". Authors of the best essays meet the Rector for a traditional British 5 o'clock tea.
