This competition has been held by the "Quant" club for more than 20 years. A full hall of guests gathers in the "Youth" palace for one of the most spectacular events at NSU and all of Akademgorodok. Participants demonstrate talents to the audience including dancing, acrobatics, singing, playing, recitation, and podium walk. The competition includes several stages: the initial dance, ‘morning suit’, homework, podium walk, improvisation and final speech. The jury gives a score for each performance. Based on all the performances the jury selects the winner who receives the title Miss NSU, as well as the first and the second runner-up. A popular vote decides the winners in the categories "Miss Audience Choice" and "Miss VKontakte".

How to participate: Casting takes place in late September or early October. Any NSU female student can take part in this casting. Participants for further preparations for the final competition are selected as the result of the casting.
