The program combines a modern research base with a business perspective. We are convinced that future managers need to understand the world and the context in which they operate before implementing viable solutions. Based on an understanding of environmental challenges, the program covers economic, social and political aspects related to sustainable development and the formation of a green economy. Just as sustainability is based on the concept of triple bottom (three foundations): economic, environmental and social, understanding these foundations forms the philosophy, strategy and tactics of doing business, embodied in the principles of ESG. This is how the main content blocks of the program are formed:
Level 1
Therefore, the program begins with an introduction to sustainable development research and the natural sciences of climatology and ecosystems (Environment). Along with an initial introduction to economics and management for sustainable management, the master examines the economic perspective of resource exploitation and emission control, on the basis of which government regulations (Governance - Economics and Management) are formed. Thus, the emphasis moves to the social area: politics, values, lifestyle form the perspective of management, given changing social and political priorities (Society).
Level 2
All this makes it possible to form approaches to management from the standpoint of sustainable development and a green economy, to master various tools: green finance, green markets, including carbon markets, green marketing, technologies and ways to reduce the carbon footprint.
