Scientific Focus

search in Russia for human adenoviruses (except for adenoviruses 5 and 6 serotypes);
creation of vector designs based on the new adenoviruses for use in biotechnology and medicine;
development of prototypes for new generation vaccines based on recombinant adenoviruses and treatments for tumor diseases using oncolytic adenoviruses.

Student Skill Attainment

Students will address problems in the field of biotechnology using CRISPR / Cas technology based on the Cpf1 enzyme that was developed and patented by the Laboratory staff.
