On 21.02.23, a subdivision of the Climate Center - Research Center «Carbon Test Site of NSU» - received accreditation in the field of greenhouse gas validation and verification. Unique record number in the Register of Accredited Persons (RAP): RA.RU.150017. Verification/validation is a systematic, independent and documented process of evaluation of greenhouse gas statements for compliance with the agreed accreditation criteria. Verification/validation is carried out in accordance with the accreditation scope of the greenhouse gas validation and verification body (GHG VVB).
The verification/validation process includes the following steps:
- Drawing up a contract;
- Discussion and approval of the verification/validation work plan;
- Performance of verification/validation work;
- Preparation and issuance of a verification/validation report.
