The laboratory is engaged in studying fast photophysical processes and photochemical reactions of various molecular systems. One of the main areas of scientific laboratory activity is the photochemistry of iron complexes with hydroxy acids in aqueous solutions that is of ecological importance, because these reactions define the cycle of organic compounds conversions into natural water.
Another area of research is the study of new photochromic compounds that are of interest for the development of new systems of information recording.
The third area of research is the synthesis and study of photophysical processes for new light-emitting systems that are of interest for the development of new OLED technology.
