The Center for Technology Transfer and Commercialization is launched at Novosibirsk State University

The Center for Technology Transfer and Commercialization (CTTC) will work to strengthen cooperation between NSU, high-tech business and government.

The Center has two primary objectives. The first is to promote the participation of Novosibirsk State University’s strategic academic units in innovative development programs at state corporations, industrial enterprises and innovative companies. The second objective is to provide consultations to NSU staff and students on the preparation of investment worthy projects, commercialization strategies, interaction with technology partners, investment and venture funds and other elements in the innovation infrastructure.  In summary, a university has appeared within the University where NSU staff can get information on these issues.

As a part of the development of the innovation and entrepreneurial environment at the University, CTTC plans to organize presentations of technology entrepreneurs and managers of technology business on the University's site. In addition, they will conduct events on the formation of project teams based on the high-tech developments at Novosibirsk State University and training in technology entrepreneurship.

Implementation of the Center’s work plan will facilitate the integrated development of the University's innovative ecosystem, synchronize work with what is happening in the region’s innovation infrastructure, develop cooperation with high-tech businesses in the framework of training, implement applied research and commercialize the results of intellectual property.
