The Non-Stop University CRYPTO Olympiad was established in 2014 in Akademgorodok, Novosibirsk. Over the years, it has significantly expanded its reach so that this year more than 1,500 participants from 53 countries participated.
NSUCRYPTO is the only international cryptography Olympiad that includes both educational and unsolved scientific problems. The goal of the Olympiad is to engage young researchers with modern cryptography challenges. Following each Olympiad, scientific papers are published that analyze the problems presented to the participants. These include those that remain unsolved and require further independent scientific research.
The Olympiad is organized and supported by the Cryptography Center (Novosibirsk), Novosibirsk State University, the Cryptonit, Crypto-Pro, and Aktiv companies, the University of Leuven (Belgium), Southern Federal University, Hackademy, Belarusian State University, Tomsk State University, and the NSUCRYPTO-Lab company.
