From March 20 to 28, 2024, an educational exhibition of Russian universities traveled to various Chinese cities (Beijing, Xinyang, Hebi, Xi'an, Yangling, and Chongqing). The primary organizer was the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing with support from Novosibirsk State University and the Minyan Educational Corporation. Sites for the traveling exhibition were organized by education departments in cities and provinces in the People's Republic of China.
Novosibirsk State Technical University and Novosibirsk State Agrarian University also took part in the traveling exhibition. Educational programs for all Novosibirsk City universities were presented at the Universities of the Novosibirsk Region Representative Office at the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing.
7,000 potential applicants (schoolchildren, students) received information about the opportunities NSU provides and the advantages of studying at the University. Business meetings were held with potential partner universities in China.

Representatives of 17 Russian universities took part in the exhibition. This was the first time such a large-scale delegation of Russian universities visited Shanxi Province cities and Chongqing city.
In October 2023, an agreement was signed to open a representative office for Novosibirsk regional universities in Beijing. The partner in this project is the Chinese Minyang (Beijing Mingyang Weilai Education Technology Co.) educational corporation. Novosibirsk State University played a decisive role in the creation of the representative office, which has been active in the field of exporting Russian education for many years. This is the first Russian initiative to create a representative office of universities from an entire region in the “Middle Kingdom”.
