A delegation from the Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok took part in the IV Congress of Young Scientists

Fr om November 27 to 29, 2024, the 4th Congress of Young Scientists was held at the Sirius University of Science and Technology. It is a key event of 2024 within the framework of the Decade of Science and Technology, declared by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation in order to strengthen the role of science and technology in solving the most important problems of the development of society and the country. The Congress is the largest platform for dialogue between advanced and fundamental science, government and the real sector of the economy and sets the main vectors of scientific and technological development of Russia.

This year, the Congress was attended by more than 7,000 people fr om 84 regions of Russia and about 60 countries, including India, Brazil and China. A delegation of young researchers, graduate students and students took part in the Congress from the Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok. In addition to participating in panel discussions and communicating with young scientists, technology entrepreneurs and representatives of leading scientific and educational centers of Russia, the Center's employees acted as speakers and moderators of individual round tables.

Olga Igorevna Krivorotko spoke at the round table "Mathematical Centers of Russia: the Foundation of National Technological Leadership", wh ere she spoke about the results of world-class mathematical centers that are already being used in industry and business.
Anastasia Valeryevna Karpenko and Sergey Sergeevich Ospichev spoke at the round table "Mathematical Education - 2030: Necessary Components", wh ere a discussion took place about the necessary components of modern mathematical education both at school and at university.
Timur Rinatovich Nasybullov acted as the chairman of the jury of the youth competition of scientific projects #ВЦИНЕСАУКИ, the awarding of the winners of which also took place within the framework of the IV Congress of Young Scientists.
