Postdoctoral Research Positions

Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok announces postdoctoral research fellowships available in Mathematics, Mathematical Physics, Computer Science, and related fields. Fellowships start April 1, 2023 (or later upon mutual agreement). The Fellowship application deadline is September 30, 2022. Results of the selection process are to be announced on December 1, 2022

Fellowship Description

Each fellowship offers an initial one-year appointment renewable for up to three years, with a monthly salary up to 120,000 Russian rubles. Housing assistance is provided either in the form of free institution-owned housing or via a fixed housing allowance of 25,000 Russian rubles per month.

Fellows will be working on their project under supervision of one of the researchers from the list provided by the link. Applicants are advised to browse scientific interests of the listed professors, choose the one most relevant to their research, get in touch with him/her and ask for his/her preliminary consent.

Fellowship Applicant Profile

• PhD within the last five years in Mathematics, Mathematical Physics, Computers Science, or related field
• Maximum Age: 36
• Citizenship form outside Russia (dual citizenship is permitted)
• Language proficiency in English
• Scientific publication experience
• A willingness to cooperate in joint scientific projects

Abstract of the research proposal should include:

1. Your main results (up to 3) containing the following information:

2. A recap of the research proposal:
   • 2.1. Title
   • 2.2. Key words (up to 6)
   • 2.3. Abstract (up to 6 sentences)
