The Siberian Mathematical Society and the Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok announce the
2022 Lavrentyev competition for student and postgraduate scientific papers in mathematics and mechanics.
Students and undergraduates of higher educational institutions of Siberia and the Russian Far East, graduate students specializing in the field of mathematics and mechanics are invited to participate in the competition.
The competition accepts articles published in the 2021/2022 academic year, reports at conferences, theses and dissertations submitted for defense in 2022, as well as manuscripts of unpublished works. The authors of the best papers will be rewarded with prizes and/or invited to participate in the workshop of the Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok in the summer of 2022.
To participate in the competition, you must provide the following:
- Electronic version of the work in pdf format.
- Abstract of the work in pdf format.
- Presentation of the chair or supervisor indicating the department, course or year of study in graduate school in pdf or jpeg format.

The deadline for submitting works for the competition is June 30, 2022 (inclusive). The results of the competition will be summed up in the summer of 2022.
