"Fall School in Advanced Probability 2020" will launch on September 8

From September 8 to October 9, 2020, with the support of the Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok, "Fall School in Advanced Probability 2020" will be held for young scientists. The school will be devoted to the rapidly developing field of the modern probability theory — the theory of stochastic networks and epidemic processes.

The school will consist of a course of four two-hour lectures of the "Rumors, consensus and epidemics on networks" course and four practice sessions. The course of lectures will be read by Professor Ayalvadi Ganesh of the University of Bristol, a well-known specialist in this field.

The first lecture will take place on September 8, 2020, at 16:00 UTC+7.
