Guo Shuai will give a talk during the next session of "Beijing-Novosibirsk seminar on geometry and mathematical physics"

Mathematical center in Akademgorodok invites you to take part in the seminar on July 10 at 4 pm Novosibirsk time (UTC+7).
The seminar's heads: A. E. Mironov, I. A. Taimanov, Huijun Fan, Eugene Zhang.

During the seminar Guo Shuai (Department of Mathematics, School of Mathematical Sciences, Peking University) will present his talk "The Landau-Ginzburg/Calabi-Yau correspondence for the quintic threefold".

In this talk, we will first introduce the physical and mathematical versions of the Landau-Ginzburg/Calabi-Yau correspondence conjecture for the Calabi-Yau threefolds. Then we will explain our approach to prove this conjecture for the most simple Calabi-Yau threefold - the quintic threefold. This is a work in progress joint with Felix Janda and Yongbin Ruan.

To take part, please, on July 10 after 3:45 pm Novosibirsk time (UTC+7) connect to the Zoom conference via this link: https://zoom.com.cn/j/61165345811?pwd=SnhQdWtneVY5NWl5RzY4VzY2Ym9nZz09.
