To take part, please, on July 3 after 5:45 pm Novosibirsk time (UTC+7) connect to the Zoom conference via this link: https://zoom.us/j/93473879731.The talk covers modern mathematical social and economic models with "Mean field game" structure, which originated in theoretical physics. Currently they are used for predictive modeling with given conditions of control or for its advancement. Mathematical model consists of two parabolic partial differential equations (Fokker-Planck-Kolomogorov and Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman types with corresponding sets of initial and boundary values) for optimization of the given target functionality. Discretization is used for this model, which gives us a system of nonlinear algebraic equations as a result. The talk will cover special types of approximation that inherits the basic properties of the differential problem (conjugation and monotony of operators, their limitations in corresponding norms) on the discrete level.
This mathematical apparatus is used for quantitative modeling of distribution or usage of alternative sources, ecological problems, optimization of salaries and insurance, net sales and other social and economic activities that require predictions of actions of lots of agents (the population).
