Times Higher Education has published the 2022 World Reputation Rankings of the 200 most respected educational institutions in the world. It is based on a survey of 29,606 academics from 159 countries. Six Russian universities made it into the Rankings this year. Novosibirsk State University landed in the 126-150th category, 5th among Russian universities, and the only one that is not located in Moscow or St. Petersburg.
Reputation Ranking scores are based on the number of times scholars name an institution as one of the best in their field of expertise. Respondents are limited to naming 15 universities that they believe are the best in both research and teaching in their field.
