The Open Doors Olympiad provides foreign students a chance to receive free tuition at Master's programs at the best universities in Russia without additional exams and before the formal admissions season begins. The Olympiad is conducted on-line in two stages, a portfolio competition and solving problems. Any non-Russian graduate with a BA or specialist degree from a foreign university can participate in the competition.
The Open Doors Project was developed by leading Russian universities who are members of the Association of Global Universities with support from the Russian Federation Ministry of Science and Higher Education and Rossotrudnichestvo. NSU is the coordinator for the "Business and Management" and "Chemistry" subject profiles and is co-organizer for the “Economics” Olympiad. Last year Olympiad participants from China, India, Egypt, Colombia, and Tajikistan entered NSU winning in “Chemistry”, “Business and Management”, “Mathematics”, and “Psychology”.
If you want a chance to enter a Master’s Program before the admission’s season begins, go to the Olympiad website from October 5, 2019 through December 18, 2019, register as a participant and upload your portfolio. From January 15 - 30, 2020 (specific dates depend on your selected subject) you solve the Olympiad problems.
