The NSU Institute of Medicine and Medical Technology’s (IMMT) Educational and Research Center (ERC) is in the final stage of construction. This is part of the second phase of the new NSU campus that is being supported by the "Youth and Children" national project. Wall and partition construction, roof installation, and installation of stained-glass windows, and the façade are all complete. The installation of external and internal utility systems is in its final stage (over 90% complete).
The interior finishes in the Educational and Research Center are 90% complete and the elevators and doors have been installed. Commissioning is underway, control panel equipment is being installed, and furniture deliveries have begun. Overall, the construction is 93% complete.
The new building will accommodate approximately 700 students in medical programs, including new programs such as Medical Cybernetics and Industrial Pharmacy, that were launched at NSU in 2025. The ERC will house Siberia's largest simulation center for skills required by future doctors, as well as laboratories and practical training facilities.
Construction of the NSU Scientific Research Center building is also underway. Walls, partitions, and the roof have been installed. The final stage includes installation of the façade and external utility systems. Interior finishing and utility system installation are almost 40% complete. Construction readiness for both buildings is 80.5% and completion of both buildings is scheduled for 2026.
