The V Ural Interregional "University Book - 2022" Competition took place this Fall. Over the years over 150 publishers and departments have participated in the Competition with more than 3,500 books submitted. This year, 13 scientific, educational, and artistic publications from NSU scientists and teachers were recognized as among the best in the country. Among the best scientific publications in economics, a diploma was awarded to the English-language “Agri-food Export: Challenges and Structural Changes” (2021) by Yulia Otmakhova, Candidate of Economic Sciences and Engineer at the NSU Department of Economics.
The monograph proposes new approaches to analyzing and predicting export growth points using the most modern data mining capabilities, neural networks for predicting the global food market, and technologies for designing patent landscapes to identify key competence centers for assessing the existing scientific and technological potential for expanding food exports. The book is of interest to researchers, teachers, post graduate students, and students within the disciplines of World Economy, Data Science and Sustainable Bioeconomy.
