YADRO and NSU Open Laboratory for Software and System-on-Chip Development

YADRO and Novosibirsk State University have opened a joint multifunctional Laboratory specializing in software and system-on-chip development. The Laboratory is based at the Information Technology Department.

The Laboratory will be a universal platform for developing students' professional skills and conducting joint educational and research projects. The Laboratory will provide students the opportunity to acquire new knowledge and practice their skills in developing systems-on-chip. Classes will be conducted by YADRO engineers and NSU professors.

Alexander Vlasov, Laboratory Head, Associate Professor NSU Informatics Systems Department, noted,

We are pleased that the opening of our joint Laboratory represents a new stage of our cooperation. This will be of greatest value to IT Department students who will be able to acquire practical and theoretical knowledge in the field of system-on-chip development, which is at the forefront of modern microelectronics.

Evgeny Maximov, Director of Ecosystem Development and Educational Initiatives at YADRO, added,

Opening the Laboratory is another step towards popularizing promising technologies among students and providing them with opportunities to work with real design tasks while still studying. We expect that the work on an educational program with an intensive practical component by the company's experts together with NSU teaching staff will ensure a high level of training for students in the field of system-on-chip development.
