Professor Dianov plans to conduct a course of lectures for the graduate and post-graduate students of the Natural Sciences Department at NSU, which will fit the standard university course. In addition, he is to become a member of the International Supervisory Board launched at the university.

‘During the transformation period, the university needs our experience gained at widely acknowledged foreign universities and colleges. I am going to dwell upon conducting research and education abroad, as well as the relations between these areas. We see the role of the International Supervisory Board to practice sound criticism for the ongoing processes,’ explains Prof. Dianov. ’It’s crucial to have a good start and act wisely. The Board is to include some representatives of prominent foreign universities, whose advice is going to navigate NSU in developing its course.’

Grigory Dianov explains his desire to work for NSU mainly by having graduated from the university and being respectful towards it. ‘It is here that I got the best education I could, by learning from the best professors and communicating in the inspiring environment. I felt I had to pay back and do something really important. I was looking forward to the opportunity. Students will definitely benefit from being immersed into the world of science, feeling the cutting edge of it and learning from the experience of other young scientists.’

The position of Adjunct Professor at NSU can be given to experts in science and education who have been teaching at leading universities around the world for at least 3 years; they are to hold a position of a Full Professor or an Associate Professor at a college or university and have a high citation index (Hirsch index of 5 or more). Such researchers are supposed to foster the development of NSU by delivering lectures on burning questions in different research areas, taking part in introducing modern methods into the courses, and collaborating with students, post-graduates and scientists at NSU. The results of such collaboration are going to be published in top-rated journals.
