The NSU Institute of Medicine and Medical Technologies (IMMT) reports that more than 90% of the work on stained glass windows and the ventilated facade has been completed. Similar work at the NSU Scientific Research Center (NSU SRC), is 80% done. These buildings are part of the second stage of the new NSU campus that is being built as part of the "Youth and Children" National Project.
In the IMMT building, the work placing walls and partitions is almost complete (90%), finishing work is underway on all floors, floor screeding is finished and porcelain tiles are being applied. In addition, internal utility networks are being installed. The Federal State Unitary Enterprise has approved the boundaries for the connection point to the central heating system and work on the installation of on-site heat supply networks will begin in the near future. Roofing work is more than 30% complete. Work is also underway on the installation of an external water supply and sewerage networks and landscaping has begun.
New architectural and planning solutions for the NSU SRC building received approval, so work is underway laying internal partitions and installing the heating system at an accelerated pace. Completion of these second-stage facilities is scheduled for the first quarter of 2026.
