The international conference "Applied Probability Workshop" of 2019 will continue the tradition of large-scale scientific events in Siberia. This year the conference will be held from August 19 to 23 in NSU. The conference will discuss current problems of various sections of probability theory and its applications, which will allow all conference participants to get acquainted with the latest results in several relevant areas of modern probability theory.
The purpose of the conference is to expand and strengthen cooperation between NSU, universities in France, Great Britain, Germany, Australia and China, the Steklov Mathematical Institute and the Sobolev Institute of Mathematics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the field of actively developing areas of probability theory and its applications. There will be an exchange of new theoretical knowledge in the field of branching processes, random walks, queuing theory, random graphs, actuarial models. The conference is based on joint projects of the NSU staff and Moscow, French, British, German, Chinese, Australian scientists.
