Science-business game “Startup-Biotech”

Startup Biotech Workgroup (Novosibirsk State University Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology and SAU “Synthetic Biology”, SB RAS Institute of Chemical Biology and Fundamental Medicine, and Technopark of Novosibirsk Akademgorodok) invites everybody who wants to know:

Can a degree work become the beginning for a startup in the field of life sciences?!

We will simulate the communication of NSU students, scientific leaders and representatives of high-tech companies in the form of a science-business game.

We aim to:

• involve the participants in the development of the concept of commercialization of scientific results;
• increase the motivation for cooperation and communication, between students, scientists, high-tech business and development institutions;
• design successful models of interaction between these groups in the implementation of joint projects for commercialization of scientific results.

The game will draw in leading experts in biomedicine, microbiology, immunology, regenerative medicine and other fields who attend the International conference “Biotechnology to the medicine of the future”.
