NSU hosts the International conference "Actual problems of computational and applied mathematics 2019" (AMCA-2019)

The conference will be held from the 1st to the 5th of July, 2019 in NSU. The conference will include a broad discussion of the current state of research in the field of computational and applied mathematics, high-performance computing and mathematical modeling. The main research areas are devoted to computational algebra methods and approximation methods, numerical solutions of differential equations, Monte Carlo methods and statistical modeling, mathematical modeling in problems of atmospheric physics, ocean, climate, environmental protection, geophysics and electrophysics, solving inverse problems, mathematical modeling in information technology and computer biology.

The conference will be held an open round table "Methods and technologies of oil and gas research and innovation." The topics of the round table include the concept of an integrated software environment for high-performance solutions to a wide range of problems.

On Wednesday, July 3, from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm, open lectures “Computational Challenges in Mathematical Finance” will be held in the auditorium 3107 of the new building of the NSU, speaker is Roman Makarov (Wilfrid Laurier University, Canada, Waterloo).

The conference will be attended by leading world experts in computational and applied mathematics, as well as young scientists, graduate students and students.
