Novosibirsk State University invites you to take part in the XXII International Ecological Student Conference "Ecology in Russia and Neighboring Territories" (IESC - 2017). The Conference will take place from October 27 to 29 at the University.
Today, IESC is the largest environmental conference for students at higher educational institutions in Russia.
From classical biological methods to economic analysis, modern ecology is an integrative science so an important feature of the conference is the different approaches participants are applying to study specific problems associated with ecology and nature management. All this is reflected in the Conferences sections. The scientific selection committee applied an individual approach to each of the theses submitted. That makes it possible every year to invite authors of original work devoted to a wide range of directions in ecological research.
The conference is supported annually by the Russian Federation Ministry of Education and Science, Novosibirsk City and Regional governments, the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, grant and scholarship funds, as well as representatives of small and medium-sized businesses.
The conference is characterized by a highly professional jury for selecting section participants. Among them are academicians, Corresponding Members of the Russian Academy of Sciences, professors, doctors and candidates of science that are engaged not only in scientific, but pedagogical activity. Their high qualifications and scope of scientific inquiry, make it possible for them to effectively evaluate scientific work conducted using a variety of research methods.
