IV All-Russian youth scientific and practical school – conference will take place from 31 July to 6 August 2017 at the NSU Geology and Geophysics department training base “Shira” in the Republic of Khakassia to the south of the Krasnoyarsk region. Students, PhD students, young scientists and specialists up to 35 can take part in the conference.
The following events are planned during the conference:
- Presentations and scientific schools conducted by leading scientists working in various fields of geology
- Field trips to interesting geological sites
NSU training base is located between two picturesque lakes: Shira (salty) and Isykul’ (fresh). The geological structure of lake Shira is very interesting and attractive due to a number of tectonic structures, unique paleontological findings, petrologic diversity of rocks and a set of natural resources, concentrated on such small area. The center for geological practices for major Siberian universities has been established here.
