From November 23 to 25, 2023, the International Scientific Conference “Modern problems of differential equations and their applications” was held in Tashkent. The organizers of the conference were the National University of Uzbekistan. Mirzo Ulugbek (Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan), Institute of Mathematics named after. IN AND. Romanovsky Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan), Institute of Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling (Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan), Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok (Novosibirsk, Russia), Fergana State University (Fergana, Republic of Uzbekistan), Termez State University (Termez, Republic of Uzbekistan ). The conference was dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mahmud Salakhitdinovich Salakhitdinov.
The conference discussed the current state and prospects for the development of the main directions of the theory of differential equations and their applications, mathematical physics, and analysis. The main topics of the conference were: degenerate equations and equations of mixed type; non-classical problems of mathematical physics equations; fractional calculus and its applications; dynamic systems, optimal control and theory of differential games; computational mathematics and mathematical modeling. The target audience of the event is leading experts in the field of mathematics, young scientists and senior students.
The scientific program included plenary, invited, sectional and poster presentations. The conference was held in person. More than 250 scientists took part in the conference, including about 100 young scientists. A collection of abstracts of reports in 2 volumes and a book of memoirs about Academician M.S. have been published. Salakhitdinov. The conference contributed to the development of international scientific cooperation, the establishment of new scientific contacts and the attraction of young scientists to relevant areas of science. Young participants had the opportunity to listen to reports from leading experts, as well as present their results.
Participants of the research project “Differential equations and dynamical systems” of the Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok took part in organizing the conference and made presentations.
