The research vessel "Professor Molchanov" left Arkhangelsk on July 8th and sailed to Franz Josef Land. The expedition included geologists from Novosibirsk State University.
This year, geologists summarized the results of a five-year large-scale project, in which 700 specialists from different countries participated. The project by the UNESCO International Geological Program is dedicated to the formation of the continental crust in Central Asia.
