The meeting of graduates of NSU took place in Paris

More than 35 people took part in the meeting of graduates of the Novosibirsk State University, which was held on January 28 in Paris. The idea to collect graduates belongs to the director of the French Center of NSU, the coordinator of cooperation with France and French-speaking countries Michel Debrenne.

37 people have responded to her invitation, including two «sympathizers» fr om other Russian universities, and a Frenchman, Evan Kurde, a graduate of Ecole de Mines, who has studied a semester at NSU.

In the store of the Russian book «Globe», the participants discussed the goals and ways of development of the «Union of NSU».

— All were keenly interested in the news from the NSU. The Humanitarian Institute in the structure of the NSU aroused big interest, for example. The details of the procedure for «joint management of dissertations» and details of the law on mutual recognition of diplomas on education, signed between France and Russia in 2015 were also discussed, — says Michel.

She notes that at the end of the meeting the participants decided to exchange contacts, to meet outdoors in the warm season, tell French students about the opportunities to get trained and study at the NSU, and also help the «newcomers» adapt to French conditions.

Also, the participants were invited to take part in projects organized by graduates of NSU living in France, in particular, the «Total Dictation» in Paris and the intellectual game "What? Wh ere? When?".
