The results of the Global Aggregate Ranking 2022 were announced. These ratings are based on the 12 most authoritative global institutional rankings and DEQAR, the European database of accredited programs. Novosibirsk State University entered the TOP 2% of the best universities in the world along with St. Petersburg State University, the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, the National Research University «Higher School of Economics», MEPI, St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Tomsk State University, and Kazan Federal University. Among Russian universities, NSU was rated among the TOP 10 and was rated the best in the Novosibirsk Region.
NSU has already been recognized as one of the best universities for training IT specialists and the NSU Specialized Educational and Scientific Center (SESC) was sixth place in the 7th annual RAEX rating of schools. This was based on the number of graduates who entered the best universities in Russia. SESC also entered the top 10 schools for competitiveness of its graduates in the Technical, Natural Sciences, and Exact Sciences fields.
