The annual Non-Stop University CRYPTO Cryptography Olympiad was held online for schoolchildren, students and professionals from all over the world. Traditionally, competitions are held in two independent rounds — individual and team.
In the individual round, third-degree diplomas in the "schoolchildren" category were won by the students of the SESC NSU
Mikhail Baev and
Egor Desyatkov, their main rivals were schoolchildren from the UK and Singapore. In the “students” category, a student of the Faculty of Information Technologies of NSU (FIT NSU)
Konstantin Romanov received a diploma of the second degree, a diploma of the third degree was awarded to a student of the Department of Mathematics and Mechanics (DMM)

Roman Lebedev was awarded a diploma of the second degree in the category "professionals" in the first round. He managed to bypass the representatives of Germany, Belgium and Hungary.
In the second round, a team of students from the DMM NSU consisting of
Alexander Bakharev,
Rinchin Zapanov and
Denis Bykov won a diploma of the first degree. They were able to get ahead of their main rivals from Romania, Vietnam and Hungary, as well as strong teams from other Russian cities.
Alexander Bakharev commented:
The Olympiad consisted of 11 tasks of varying complexity, which were united by a common theme — cryptography. The peculiarity of this Olympiad is the presence of open problems of modern cryptography in the tasks. The NSUCRYPTO team stage is a great opportunity to find like-minded people and spend a productive week studying various areas of cryptography and solving Olympiad problems.
