Russian philology
Students gain fundamental knowledge in literature, the Russian language, its history, contemporary status and development trends. Learn to analyze the language, create and interpret different types of texts with meaning, aesthetic, practical value. Moreover, philologists, students learn to refine and process texts: perform proofreading, editing, commenting, annotating.
Students majoring in Russian philology study one Western European language (English, French, German, Italian) and have the opportunity to learn a second foreign language.
